A personal intro to a song — a dedication with a name

Sometimes the song already exists. You listen to it on the site and think: “This is exactly for her.” Only one thing is missing — for her to hear that it's for her. That's what a personal intro is for.

What a personal intro is

A short dedication added to a finished Paliva song. The song itself stays the same — we only add your words. For example:

  • “Mum, this song is for you. Thank you for everything.”
  • “Happy birthday, Annie! From all of us, with love.”
  • “For our first year together.”

It's a quicker and more affordable gift than a custom song — and it's still personal.

How it sounds

You choose two things, or leave them to us:

  • How it's told — spoken (a warm voice over the music) or sung (woven into the melody).
  • Where in the song — at the start, at the start and at the end, or before the last chorus.

Not sure? “Leave to Paliva” — we'll pick what sits most naturally in that song.

How to order

1. Browse the songs. Those that can take an intro have a “A personal intro to this song” button on their page.
2. In the form, write what should be said: who it's for, who it's from, the occasion and the greeting.
3. Send the inquiry. We reply with a price and a delivery time and start once everything is agreed.

The price and delivery time of an intro are the same for every occasion.

What to write

Short is stronger. One or two sentences are enough. It helps to say:

  • how to address them — “Mum”, “my love”, “bro”;
  • who it's from — “from John”, “from the whole team”;
  • the occasion — a birthday, an anniversary, “just because”.

You can also add an intro to a custom song — then the name goes into the intro, and the lyrics stay timeless.

The song tells the story. The intro says who it's for.

Frequently asked questions

Can an intro be added to any song?

No — only to songs with the “A personal intro to this song” button on their page. If you like another one, ask us through the contact form.

How long is the intro?

Usually one or two sentences — a few seconds. Short dedications sound the most natural.

Can I hear the intro before it's final?

Yes — we send you a version for approval, and if something doesn't sound right, we fix it.
