The Poetry

All your life you prove yourself, but not to yourself, you wear yourself down mentally for the wrong people. Modesty makes the man — is it really an outdated phrase? Audacity as a path to progress is the new phase. Being kind is so difficult nowadays, sometimes it feels like a real burden. You are punctual, you are never late, you don't make excuses, nor do you slack off. But then it hurts, it stings, that you are always on time, in this world so corrupt. But you know what? Don't change yourself, don't replace who you are with anyone in this life. Stay true to your principles, don't give up, be strong and confident. Work for yourself, strive, follow your own path and don't stop. Don't change yourself, you are unique, even though we live in a banal world. Don't change yourself, even when it weighs on you, aren't you tired of intrigues and lies? Don't change your direction, follow your path, your dreams and your guidance.
